FORMER KOGI GOV AUDU SAYS HE WILL STAGE

COME BACK

Former Kogi state Governor, Prince Abubakar Audu
has indicated his intention to stage a come back as
the next governor of the state.
Prince Audu who was governor on the platform of the
All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) from 1999 to 2003
said he will now be contesting the October 2015
election on the platform of All Progressives Congress
(APC)
He said he decided to join the race because of calls
by his people over non performance of the PDP
administration for the past 16 years of his exit from
office.
According to the former governor ,the people of the
state are disturbed over total neglect of
infrastructure he left behind that were allowed to
decay as well as the economic and financial base
that have now been totally destroyed.
Prince Audu made the declaration at the APC victory
celebration for 3 Senators elect, 6 members elect of
the house of Representatives and 11 state assembly
members elect, held at Ogbonicha in Ofu LGA of Kogi
state.
“The voice of men is the voice of God. The people are
yearning for me to come back because of my
performance between 1999 and 2003. And with PDP
in power, a lot of people are wallowing in abject
poverty in the midst of plenty.
“As a matter of facts Kogi is my baby and if I turn my
back to it, if I do that it will make me an irresponsible
father “,the former governor stated.
