IKOYI COURT STOPS KASHAMU'S EXTRADITION
The federal high court sitting in Ikoyi Lagos Nigeria this morning declared the extradition attempt on the senator elect Prince Buruji Kashamu Illegal.
Officials of the NDLEA could not produce a duly signed warrant of arrest before the court this morning.
Why is the Antoney general of the federation lying to Nigerians earlier in an interview with newsmen earlier yesterday?The Antorney general claimed in an interview that the extradiction attempt is within the regulation of the law. While some has hailed the attempt to extradite Kashamu as a welcomed development capable of laundering the massacred image of Nigeria abroad. Others has questioned the legality of the actions especially as it points towards persecution of a man who supported Jonathan in the last presidential election. On similar note, the senator elect has pointed accusing finger on the former president Obasanjo as being responsible for his travails.
