Facts About Imo Guber Election:
* From the results released by INEC Gov Rochas Okorocha of APC scored 385,671 votes at the April 11 election.
* Hon Emeka Ihedioha of PDP scored 306,142 votes.
*There is no other result being awaited other than the ones already released by INEC
* Governor Okorocha Won in 20 out of the 27 local government areas of the state.
* There was no cancelation of election in the whole of Ideato North & South LGAs, the home of Gov Okorocha. This means that there was no electoral malpractice in that area which is supposed to be the stronghold of the governor. This further means that the allegation of rigging against the governor cannot be true because if he had wanted to rig, he would have started from there.
* Conversely, as many as 5,058 and 2,733 votes were canceled in Aboh Mbaise and Ezinihitte LGAs, respectively, where Hon Emeka Ihedioha comes from.
* Another 1,912 votes were canceled in Ngor Okpala LGA, another stronghold of Ihedioha.
*It is instructive that Hon Ihedioha scored only 15,106 votes in the same Ngor Okpala, compared to Gov Okorocha's 14,756 votes; meaning that Ihedioha 'won' with only 350 votes in a LGA he represented for 12 yrs, a clear indication that the people of Ngor Okpala do not want him.
* The 127,115 votes (initially 144,715) votes to be vied for at the April 25 re-run are misleading because less than 80% of voters in those areas have Permanent Voters Cards, PVCs.
* The number of Imo voters with PVCs in the affected area is less than 80,000. Meanwhile, Gov Okorocha is leading with 79,529 votes.
* There are no results being awaited from Oru East and Ezinihitte LGAs contrary to what is being peddled in some quarters.
* The purported confession by an INEC Officer that she was forced to write results in favor of APC In Oru East is a cover up.
* The official did so to justify her failure to deliver on the assignment she was given by some PDP members in the area who had earlier recruited her.
* It is only PDP national officers, mostly non indigenes of Imo State that are asking for the outright cancelation of the entire governorship election in the state
* Instructively, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Mr Olisa Metu, visited Imo and Abia states on the day of the governorship election and today, only the 2 states apart from Taraba in far away North East, had their elections declared inconclusive by INEC
* It is instructive that the entire state has remained calm irrespective of instigations by the PDP for hell to be let loose.
* Imolites have chosen to stand steadfast in support of the preferences they made on April 11, 2015 in favor of Owelle Rochas Okorocha while waiting to seal the mandate on April 25, 2015
