Amaechi approaches an Awka Court to procure  injunction to stop the swearing-in of Wike

Outgoing Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State has allegedly approached a court in Awka, Anambra State to procure  injunction to stop the inauguration of Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike on May 29 siting gross electoral malpractices .
Close associates of the Governor were sighted in Awka all through the weekend. It was unclear if they had finalised the injunction trade as at Monday.
