WOULD THERE BE A CHANGE..
President Mohammed BUHARI a renowned incorruptible man, the real Mr integrity, the anti corruption czar , the indefatigable voice, the dogged fighter and the supposed much awaited change that Nigeria badly craved for. Today, we are happy because more Nigerians wanted him as the president. We are joyed because even those that didn't want him has prayed and congratulated him. He is now a beautiful bride that has made Nigerians to be hopeful and expectant.

Today, we are happy because more Nigerians wanted him as the president. We are joyed because even those that didn't want him has prayed and congratulated him. He is now a beautiful bride that has made Nigerians to be hopeful and expectant.
However, Mr Presidents first two steps has got me wondering if there truly would be a change...
1) Declaring his asset privately instead of publicly: This to me is in sharp contrast with the expectations of millions of looming supporters of the President. This looks more like a hope fading step by the president and we must speak out before they cankerworms drag him to the status quo. Today, late President Yaradua remains an example of how to be sincere in declaring his assets. He did it publicly so that the people can review his assets after his regime and we expect nothing short from Mr President.
2) Only yesterday, Buhari took a queue from that which Nigerians strongly despise by demonstrating a near let us chop step by appointing:
Mr. Femi Adesina; and the Director, Media and Publicity of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Mallam Garba Shehu, as spokesmen.
While Adesina will serve as the Special Adviser to the President (Media and Publicity), Shehu will be the new Senior Special Assistant (Media and Publicity).
A closer look at this two appointments suggest that we may have gone back to the kicked out style which is certainly a clear suggestion that the much pronounced change may become an aberration. God forbid!
Instead of pointing fingers now, i expect well meaning Nigerians to rise and remind Mr President Buhari that he represents the last hope for this country and should not indulge in acts that will jeopardise or cast doubt in the much advertised and anticipated change.
We expect him to declare his assets publicly as that would be a pointer to where his government is headed to.
we expect him to run a conservative government that will strongly discourage wastage especially in the area of duplication of duties .
we need real change not just broom change.
