SARAKI AND THE COMMITEES, WHERE IS THE CHANGE?

The Senate has again cast doubt on the much advertised change by coming up with sixty five committees. One would have expected that the economic situation of the country as mentioned by the Presidential should have been enough signal that will enable the legislature cut down on her legislative excesses. A closer look at the committees clearly showed that some of this committees visibly depicts duplication of duties and unnecessary manufacturing of committees even when they should have overlap functions.
