1. FG and State Governments know that d current bureaucracies they carry are unwieldy, unserviceable and inefficient but don't have either d political will or wisdom to immediately do d needful. Less than 2.5m persons (in FG payroll) consume 78% of our budget meant for 170m people.
2. Every month all 36 states plus FCT go to Abuja to share Nigeria's revenue based on population, land mass and location of extractive resources.
3. With nothing economic going on in Borno, it still collects more than Anambra; what's d economic incentive to the State gov to push for an end to Boko Haram? The military expenses are borne by FG.
4. Why do we still have 36 states when they can't even pay salaries not to talk of any capital projects? We should have six states only.
5. We scare the investing world not to come and invest by announcing that Nigeria, their destination is broke. Which depositor shall entrust his money to a bank he authoritatively hears that d former managers pillaged its treasury and that the current managers are cousins of the former managers? Our No 1 made a mistake in India and should please stop it. It is called self-demarketing.
6. No economic policies have been enunciated other than media trials of dispatch men.
7. The congregation have not seen anything from d hyped miracle working pastor; they are getting disillusioned.
The resurgent robberies all over Lagos is an appetizing protest by the unorganized downtrodden. Wise countries pay them to be safe. Ever heard of social security?
