My motion today that Seeks to Investigate the over 4 trillion Naira Debt owed local contractors by the past Federal Government, its Ministries, Agencies and parastatals was applauded by ALL members; With the Deputy Speaker, Majority leader, Minority leader among others speaking in its favor.

My motion today that Seeks to Investigate the over 4 trillion Naira Debt owed local contractors by the past Federal Government, its Ministries, Agencies and parastatals was applauded by ALL members; With the Deputy Speaker, Majority leader, Minority leader among others speaking in its favor.
The motion was unanimously approved by the house.
Subsequently the house mandated the house committees on works, aids loans, Debt Management, Finance and appropriation to investigate accordingly and report back to the house within 3 weeks for further legislative inputs.
We are committed to empowering our people by ensuring that contractors are motivated to go to site, deliver quality projects and get paid, promptly.
