Today, we presented the following bills for their first readings at the Senate: the Word Security Watches Nationwide Bill by Senator Ben Murray-Bruce (Bayelsa East); the Sickle Cell Anaemia (Prevention, Control and Management) Bill by Senator Sam Egwu (Ebonyi North); the Unemployed Youths, Elderly and Indigent Sustainability Allowances Trust Fund Bill by Senator Ali Ndume (Senate Leader) and the Chartered Institute of Facilities Management of Nigeria Bill by Senator Baba Kaka Bashir Garbai (Borno Central).
We also considered the report of the Ad-hoc Committee on Works on the total collapse of Federal Roads in Nigeria by Senator Barnabas Gemade (Benue North East).
